Older Church

Other social groups within the congregation include the Wives’ Group (a fellowship group mostly for older ladies), a Mothers’ Union Branch, a Dorcas Group (named after the Dorcas of Acts 9:36) and a women’s Guild. We also have a Social Committee which organises a variety of social and fundraising events throughout the year and a study and growth group which meets fortnightly to discuss various aspects of faith and spirituality.

Consequently, there are many opportunities, and a variety of contexts, for the congregation to come together - both in worship, and socially.

Refreshments after the At-home members’ service

Members of the congregation, both old and young are involved week-by-week in our worship – reading lessons, leading prayers, serving and assisting with the administration of Communion. Others are committed to supporting and facilitating our worship, mission and social life from behind the scenes.
